Fun Club Kids Camp

Looking for something fun and educational for your child this
summer?
Join the Sodom Mountain camp staff for a summer full of themed weeks
and activities.
Each week has been specifically designed to meet the needs of
different types of students.
From cooking to crafts, acting to acrobatics, our camps are fun and
educational.
Pick one, two, or all weeks for a worry-free summer filled with
constant entertainment
Our campground has many years of experience with providing fun for
everyone.

Each
week runs from Monday through Thursday.
Monday - Wednesday: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
Thursday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Before and After Care Available! |
|
Each camp
session is instructed by a professional and experienced
director. Each day is filled with fun and activities related to
the theme topic instruction. Each day includes time for arts &
crafts, games, pool time with lessons, and free swim time. A
bagged lunch is required for lunch break as well as a snack for
snack time. A towel with bathing suit is needed for swim time,
and be sure to bring sunscreen, too. Get ready for big fun! |

Week 1
July 13-16 |
All
Star Sports
- The kids will surely be exhausted after a week of
constant activity and exercise with Sports Camp. This week will
reinforce healthy competition, sportsmanship, and teamwork
values. Campers will participate in a wide variety of sports and
activities, such as Wiffle Ball, Soccer, Volleyball, Mini Golf
and many others. |

Week 2
July 20-23 |
Around
the World II
- Hop aboard the culture and language express! Kids will
learn a great deal and have fun touring Asia, Australia, and
Africa. Explore the culinary delights of each continent, learn
some of the languages, and participate in an array of arts &
crafts, songs and trivia related to each region. By the end of
the week campers will be eager to travel the world. |

Week 3
July 27-30 |
Cooking 101
- Ideal for the beginner, this camp caters to the new
learner in the kitchen to become familiar with ins and outs will
have the campers hungry for more. Proper etiquette, measurement
skills, and nutrition education will be dished up as campers
whip up tasty morsels, such as pizza, salads, breakfast and many
more dishes. Add an additional $15.00 for supplies. |

Week 4
August 3-6 |
Crazy
Science
- For the campers that like to get down and dirty
exploring the world of science, this week is ideal. Working
inside and outside the campers will mix up experiments, go on
nature hikes, work on scavenger hunts and learn the world around
them. |

Week 5
August 10-13 |
Culinary Arts
- This week will focus on more advanced cooking
techniques as campers dive into more challenging dishes that
allow more creativity. Campers will learn to make Italian
dishes, casseroles, and much more. Add an additional $15.00 for
supplies. |

Meet the Directors |
|
Mike Dutton earned his Master of
Education in 2001. Since 2002 he has taught and tutored foreign
languages and science in the Agawam school system. Mike has
years of experience working with children in many capacities
such as summer camps, mentoring programs, and advising numerous
clubs and organizations with much success. He is fun, creative,
and makes learning enjoyable for everyone!
Janice LaFrance has 25 years of experience in childhood
entertainment through crafts, games and adventure. She has owned
and operated Sodom Mountain Campground giving her many years of
experience in management recreation and ideas. |

About Our Staff & Program |
|
Camper
to Leader Ratio:
8 to 1 at
full capacity. The full time staff includes the director and
experienced assistants. The swimming instructor is Red Cross Life Guard,
First Aid, and CPR certified.
This camp must comply
with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public
Health and be licensed by the local Board of Health. Each
program offers the ultimate learning and fun experience for your
child. Family and friends will be invited on Thursday evening to
join their children in a presentation of the weeks activities.

children ages 6 to 11. (Age as of June 1, 2009.) |

Program Costs |

Cost:
$165.00 per week; $275.00 for two weeks; or $650.00 for the
complete program. Ask about our family and early
bird discounts! You may pay by check, money order, or credit
card (see registration form). The cost includes all of the
activities, all of the materials for all of the activities,
Thursday night’s supper, and swimming lessons with a Red Cross
certified swimming instructor. Refund Policy: 50% refund before
with notification before July 1, 2008. No other refunds! |

1) Call Sodom
Mountain Campground at (413) 569-3930 to reserve your spot in
the week(s) of your choice.
2) Fill out and send in the registration form — one form per
child — and mail with your payment. Make checks payable to
“Sodom Mountain Campground” and mail to:

to Get Here |

From the
Mass Pike: Take Exit 3 (Westfield) off I-90 (the Mass Pike).
Follow U.S. Route 202 South to Southwick Center. At Southwick
Center, turn right onto Route 57 West. Follow Route 57 West for
3¼ miles beyond Southwick Center. Take a left on South Loomis
Street. The Campground will be ¼ mile on the right.
From Interstate 91: Take Exit 3 (Agawam) off I-91. Follow
Route 57 West to Southwick Center. Take a left on Routes 10 &
202 South and 57 West to next light. Turn right and continue on
Route 57 West for 3¼ miles beyond Southwick Center. Take a left
on South Loomis Street. The Campground will be ¼ mile on the
right. |
